Installing Full Screen Background Images

If you are looking for help installing Full Screen Background Images, you likely just purchased it for the first time. If that's you, thank you!

When you purchased Full Screen Background Images, you should have received a purchase confirmation email, which includes a link to download the plugin as well as your license key. It should look something like this:

Click on the download link, which will prompt you to save a ZIP file to your computer.

If you didn't receive the purchase receipt email, it may have ended up in your email spam or junk folder. If for some reason it isn't in your inbox or spam folder, you can access the download link from your account.

Once you have the ZIP file saved to your computer, navigate to your WordPress site and login as an administrator.

Navigate to the Plugins > Add New page on your WordPress site, and click the Upload Plugin button.

A file uploader prompt should appear. Click the Choose File button and select the plugin's ZIP file that you saved to your computer earlier.

Finally, click the Install Now button on the right side of the file upload field.

Note: If you try to search for Full Screen Background Images in the search box to the right, you will only be able to find plugins that are distributed for free through WordPress.org. You will find the "lite" version of this plugin, which is not what you want to install since you have paid for the premium version.

The plugin will begin to install. Once it completes it will prompt you to activate the plugin. Click on the link to activate the plugin.

That's it! Full Screen Background Images should be installed, activated, and ready to use.

If you want to know where to enter your license key, please see this support document.

Upgrading From Simple Full Screen Background Image?

When you install the full version of Full Screen Background Images, the Simple Full Screen Background Image plugin will automatically be deactivated. Before this happens though, it will attempt to move your settings from Simple Full Screen Background Image (free version) over to Full Screen Background Images (pro version). This way your site should have no noticeable differences when upgrading from one version to the other.
